Beef Noodle Soup (Beef Mami Noodles)
1 In a pot, heat cooking oil and saute garlic and onions until fragrant and soft.
Put in beef brisket and cook until all sides are light brown in color.
Add the beef stock and star anise. Bring to boil and remove scum that floats on top. Cover and simmer for about 45 mins. or until beef is tender.
In a serving bowl, place the cooked egg noodles and Chinese cabbage.
Pour the soup with beef brisket pieces on the bowl with noodles and garnish with fried garlic, green onions and sliced boiled eggs.
